June School Holidays: 25 May (Sat) - 23 Jun (Sun)

September School Holidays: 31 Aug (Sat) - 8 Sep (Sun)

End of Year School Holidays: 23 Nov (Sat) - 31 Dec (Tue)

Junior Colleges (JC) and Millennia Institute (MI) School Holidays 2024

March School Holidays: 9 Mar (Sat) - 17 Mar (Sun)

June School Holidays: 25 May (Sat) - 23 Jun (Sun)

September School Holidays: 31 Aug (Sat) - 8 Sep (Sun)

End of Year School Holidays:

• JC Year 1, M1 Year 1, MI Year 2: 23 Nov (Sat) - 31 Dec (Tue)
• JC Year 2, MI Year 3: End of A-Level exams to 31 Dec (Tue)

2. Scheduled School Holidays 2024

Youth Day: 30 Jun (Sun) The following Mon 1 Jul will be a school holiday

Teachers' Day: 30 Aug (Fri)

Children's Day (for primary schools and primary sections of full schools only): 4 Oct (Fri)

3. PSLE Examination Periods

Parents with kids in Primary School will want to take note of the PSLE examination periods as students in Primary 1 to 5 could be given off from school during these periods.

For the PSLE Marking Exercise, all primary school students will be given the period off.

PSLE Oral Examination: 13-14 Aug (Tue-Wed)

PSLE Listening Comprehension: 13 Sep (Fri)

PSLE Written Examination: 26 Sep - 2 Oct (Thu-Wed)

PSLE Marking Exercise: 14-16 Oct (Mon-Wed)

Christmas Day: 25 Dec (Wed)

* The following Monday (12 Feb) will be a public holiday. 13 Feb will be a school holiday and designated day off-in-lieu.

5. Long weekends and when to take leave

There are four 3-day long weekends in 2022:

• Good Friday: Apr 15-17 (Fri-Sun)
• Vesak Day: May 14-16 (Sat-Mon)
• Deepavali: Nov 22-24 (Sat-Mon)
• Christmas: Dec 24-26 (Sat-Mon)

Interestingly, Labour Day (May 1) and Hari Raya Puasa (May 2) are right next to each other in 2022.

Here's where you can take leave for that extra long 4 or 5 day weekend:

• ‍Chinese New Year: Jan 26-2 Feb (Sat-Wed)
• ‍Labour Day & Hari Raya: Apr 30-May 3 (Sat-Tues)
