Disney Magic Blooms: A spectacular botanical adventure at Floral Fantasy at Gardens by the Bay

For the first time in Singapore, Disney characters have sprung to life in an extraordinary way.

Not through screens or costumes, but through the artistry of botanical design.

Disney Garden of Wonder transforms beloved characters into living art through botanical craftsmanship that uses a mix of live and preserved plants.

Inspired by Walt Disney World's EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, this exhibition took 17,000 painstaking hours to create by hand.

More than 6,000 preserved plants across 40 species were used to create the colourful topiaries of the Disney and Pixar characters.

Another 30,000 live and preserved plants were used to craft the detailed surrounding landscapes.

A Garden of Stories

Each display in the Disney Garden of Wonder tells its own tale.

The true artistry of the display lies in how the creators translated animated characters into botanical masterpieces.

Take Ariel from The Little Mermaid, for instance.

Her signature red hair isn't just any red plant - it's Amaranthus caudatus, specifically chosen for how its cascading tendrils mirror the movement of hair underwater.

Her tail gleams with Ruscus hypoglossum, selected for its natural blue-green sheen that perfectly captures the iridescent quality of fish scales.

Even her seashell top tells a story, crafted from hydrangeas whose rounded clusters create the perfect sculptural effect.

Singapore Flavours Meet Disney Charm

In the Singapore Zone, Singapore's culinary heritage is celebrated through Disney's playful lens.

Delight in scenes such as Donald Duck encountering Chili Crab, Stitch coming face-to-face with durian, and Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck sharing a moment of friendship over a bowl of Ice Kachang in a traditional shophouse setting.

Meet Mickey and Minnie

Mickey and Minnie Mouse are debuting special outfits inspired by Singapore's Garden City identity, incorporating elements of the Vanda Miss Joaquim - Singapore's National Flower.

Meet and greet dates will happen on select dates in 2025.
