Designed in partnership with students from Pathlight School, The Artground's latest theme for its Visual Arts Space at Goodman Arts Centre explores the many possibilities for future transportation.
The theme for the space was brought to life through the imagination and passion of the young creators from Pathlight School - a pioneer in providing a tailored educational journey for students on the autism spectrum in Singapore.
Their work, now proudly displayed at The Artground, serves not only as an expression of their love for transportation but also as a testament to their inventive spirit.
As your little explorers wander through M.A.P., they'll get to think big and imagine what the future of transport could look like.
Who knows? They might just come up with the next big idea that'll take us places we've never imagined!
The indoor playground and interactive art space is filled with hands-on activities, slides, tinkering corners and even a mini ERP (Electronic Road Pricing) gantry!
Upon entering, families will be given an access card, adding a fun layer to the exploration.
And just like a real transport card, just tap to enter and begin the adventure!
Start your exploration at the Bus Depot, where creativity knows no bounds and little ones can construct their own transport with large foam blocks.
Next, hop onto the roller coaster MRT, inspired by futuristic designs from the students themselves, with interactive videos offering a glimpse into the future of transportation while promoting kindness and social etiquette.
At the Tinkering Terminal, digital drawing boards and wooden pieces await those ready to bring their visionary transport solutions to life, drawing inspiration from the exhibits around them.
And for those who love a bit of action, the Scrap Yard offers climbs and slides, complete with authentic MRT handles for an extra dose of realism.
The littlest adventurers have a safe zone for tactile play at Baby Control.
Families can customise their journey using themed magnets at the MAP Station.
For a cosy break, the Flying Bus nook offers a space to lounge while watching videos by Pathlight students sharing fun facts about Singapore's travel systems.
All visitors will require a valid ticket for entry.
1 parent and 1 child will be counted as 2 pax, whereas babies in arms will be counted as 1 pax.
