One United People - National Day 2024 Celebration by Defence Collective Singapore

National Day Special Exhibition - “Yours Sincerely”

This special showcase invites Singaporeans and visitors alike to dive deep into the essence of the National Pledge.

The exhibition takes you on a journey through the diversity of Singaporean life, highlighting how people from all walks of life come together to form a strong, united nation. 

This exhibition is about reflecting and celebrating what makes Singapore special.

It's a chance to see how everyday actions embody the powerful words of the National Pledge, turning Singapore into a place that's not just lived in, but loved, protected, and cherished as home.

Look forward to 4 interactive zones, each offering a unique perspective on Singaporean identity:

‍Zone 1 - Eavesdrop on candid conversations between fellow Singaporeans, getting a real taste of local life.

‍Zone 2 - Cast your vote for the most relatable Singaporean story, connecting with shared experiences.

‍Zone 3 -  This zone sheds light on Psychological Defence, particularly during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic.

‍Zone 4 - Hear heartfelt testimonials from Singaporeans about what drives them to defend their beloved home.

To cap off the experience, you can leave your personal well-wishes for Singapore, adding your voice to the chorus of national pride.

One Singapore! (Interactive Photo Opportunity)

Capture unforgettable NDP moments and show your love for Singapore at the interactive photo corner.

Participate in a pledge-taking ceremony and even challenge yourself to recite the national pledge in all four official languages.

One Journey! (Dramatised Interactive Storytelling)

Step into the heart of Singapore's rich history with this captivating storytelling series. 

Audiences are transported through time as ancient legends are brought to life in dramatic, engaging sessions.

From the mystical origins of Singapura to the thrilling Swordfish Attack, each tale unfolds with vivid detail and theatrical flair. 

Participants don't just watch - you become part of the story, immersed in the sights, sounds, and emotions of Singapore's legendary past!

One Heartbeat! (Music Performances)

Experience the spirit of Singapore at this National Day celebration featuring performances by yIN Harmony, Ageless Bridge, and more. 

Join fellow Singaporeans in singing beloved classics that span cultures and generations, including "Home," "小人物的心声," "Chan Mali Chan," and "Where I Belong."

Wonderland (Free Movie Screening)

‍Step into a heartwarming slice of Singapore’s past with “Wonderland”, a local production that takes you back to the 1980’s, weaving a tale that will resonate with viewers of all ages.

The film stars Mark Lee as a reserved, illiterate single father, Peter Yu as his friendly neighbour, and Xenia Tan as the daughter studying overseas.

It’s a touching exploration of family and friendship that will bring viewers on a nostalgic journey through a beloved era.

With its authentic recreation of the ‘80s and relatable characters, Wonderland promises laughs, tears, and a warm glow that’ll linger long after the movie ends!

Drop by three CapitaLand Malls from 15-30 July to catch the "One Heart, One Nation" display which celebrates our nation's 59th year of independence as well as our Kampung Spirit.
