Guided by the experienced Nature Rangers, the activities during the programme are designed to allow children to explore freely while building their resilience, grit, and confidence.
The theme for the month is all about the Marvelous Magic of nature.
Highlights include potion making, shadow-casting, Web Spinning, and wood-whittling of wands!
The programme aspires to develop healthy self esteem through experiential learning.
Young explorers will foster a deeper understanding towards their relationship between themselves and the natural environment.
By being outdoors and interacting with the natural environment, children’s sense of curiosity will be heightened, leading them to be more engaged, motivated and active in learning.
Experiential learning develops better psychomotor, affective and cognitive skills in children, enabling them to become well-rounded learners.
Children will develop better concentration and cognitive focus, acquire social skills to connect with others and the natural environment, hone observational skills, improve their motor fitness, and develop healthy habits within themselves and the environment around them.
