The National Heritage Board has launched a series of programmes in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Fall of Singapore in 1942.
From 12 Feb - 6 Mar 2022, there will be more than 70 tour runs including special access tours that will give you access to lesser-known sites that hold historical significance in Singapore's World War II history.
Explore WWII sites such as 179 Picadilly (Former Station Headquarters of Royal Air Force Seletar), Old Changi Hospital, and Dempsey Hill, where remnants of war still remain amidst Singapore's modern landscape.
There will also be tours of newly revamped sites such as Changi Chapel & Museum and Reflections at Bukit Chandu.
Registrations open on 10 February at 10am.
Visit National Heritage Board's website for more information on the programmes available and to sign up.
