Rainforest Wild Asia is Asia’s first adventure-based zoological park, designed to immerse visitors in the ecosystem of a Southeast Asian rainforest.
Imagine trekking through lush rainforests, spotting majestic tigers, and even langurs leaping from treetops.
The best part? This is just phase one! The Mandai Wlidlife Group has plans to open Rainforest Wild Africa next, featuring landscapes inspired by the Afro-Tropical Region and Madagascar.
Offers valid till 30 Apr 2025

What's really cool about this place is its "choose you own adventure" approach.
The park offers tailored paths whether you're looking for a laid-back exploration or adrenaline filled adventure.
There are thoughtfully designed elevated walkways with plenty of rest stops for those who prefer a leisurely stroll, while adventure seekers can scramble over logs, cross streams, and even try out high-element traverses across rock faces!
Plus spontaneous animal encounters await. Keep your eyes peeled for Malayan tigers, playful langurs and sun bears roaming freely in habitats that mimic their natural environments.
Spanning 13 hectares, the park features 10 immersive zones inspired by Asia’s rainforests.
Over 7,000 Southeast Asian trees have been planted to recreate authentic rainforest ecosystems, and the park is home to 29 threatened species, including new-to-Singapore residents like the Philippine spotted deer.
Here are some of the can't miss spots:
1. The Karsts - Scale jagged limestone cliffs (yes, you can climb them!) and spot François’ langurs swinging through the trees.
2. Rock Cascade
Watch Malayan tigers navigate waterfalls and rocky outcrops, cross a root bridge for a front-row view!
3. The Canopy
Wander among treetops and meet free-roaming Javan langurs. Don’t forget to glance down, Philippine spotted deer might be grazing below!
4. The Cavern
Inspired by Malaysia’s UNESCO-listed Mulu Caves, this subterranean labyrinth features ancient rock formations, glass-floor tunnels, and even racer snakes and giant scorpions (safely behind glass, of course).
Through a collaboration with Sarawak Forestry Department, the design team actually scanned the real Mulu Caves to recreate their ancient rock formations.
The Oculus is where you can look up to see the sky through an opening in the rock above and is a great spot for a photo!
A fascinating feature of Rainforest Wild Asia is its flexible animal habitats.
These dynamic spaces allow different species to rotate through the same habitat at various times of the day.
For example, you might see red dholes (Asian wild dogs) exploring the Watering Hole in the morning, then return in the afternoon to find babirusas (Indonesian Wild Pigs) foraging in the exact same space.
It's a clever departure from traditional zoo designs where animals stay in fixed locations. Instead, this approach mirrors how wildlife actually behaves in nature, moving through different territories throughout the day.
It's a win-win innovation: the animals get varied, stimulating environments that encourage their natural behaviours, while visitors get a more authentic wildlife experience where animal sightings feel spontaneous and exciting.
A range of extra add-on activities are available to make your visit even more exciting!
These activities are offered from 10am-5:30pm daily and bookings are required.
Canopy Jump: Leap from a 13m or 20m (that's as high as a 6-storey building) platform and experience a freefall into the rainforest before safely descending.
You'll get a stunning view that few others ever see. It's conveniently located near the Sentinent Foodhall, so you can celebrate your bravery with a well-deserved meal!
Price: $30 (inclusive of photo)
AIA Vitality Bounce - Ever wondered what it feels like to be a gibbon swinging through the trees? The AIA Vitality Bounce gets you pretty close! You'll be bouncing up to 7 meters above ground in an open-sky play area with three different zones to explore. There's a climbing net to navigate, and the highlight, a thrilling 9-meter slide to zip down. The centrepiece is a towering tree right in the middle of the net, making you feel like a true forest dweller.
Price: $15
Critter Crawl: For those who aren't afraid of the dark (or cockroaches), the Critter Crawl offers a unique subterranean experience. Armed with just a headlamp, you'll navigate a 60-meter cave tunnel filled with impressive stalactites and stalagmites. Keep your eyes peeled for fossil imprints, and yes – you'll even get to see hissing cockroaches through a glass floor panel! Be prepared to crouch, sidestep, and crawl as you explore this underground world.
Price: $20 (inclusive or photo)
For the true adventurers out there, Black Adventure offers two guided three-hour tours will take you places most people never get to see.
On the Wild Apex Adventure, you'll get to explore the beautiful Karst and Canopy habitats.
You'll safely navigate the via ferrata path, climbing metal rungs, ladders, and suspended bridges that reach up to 20 meters high.
And keep your eyes peeled for the remarkable François' langurs, these fascinating primates might just be sharing the cliffs with you, showing off their impressive climbing skills on the rocky walls!
Timings: Departs every hour from 9am-2pm
Capacity: 6 sessions daily, 12 pax per session

You'll start by learning how to abseil in the darkness (don't worry, you'll be guided you every step of the way!), then venture through snug passages and carefully pick your path across fields of massive boulders.
As you wind your way through the tunnels, you'll discover amazing cave formations called speleothems – nature's own underground art gallery!
For the perfect finale, your guides will take you to the stunning Oculus viewpoint where you can snap that perfect photo to remember your subterranean adventure.

There's something for everyone across 4 fantastic restaurants.
Need a quick break? Pop into Rangers Cafe at The Outpost for a cool drink and some tasty snacks to keep your adventure going.
If you're craving authentic Southeast Asian dishes, you'll love Sentinel Foodhall, where you can dine surrounded by gorgeous forest-inspired decor.
Bring the whole family to Watering Hole Cafe, where you can enjoy casual meals throughout the day while watching our fascinating Malayan tapirs.
For something truly special, check out Cavern Restaurant run by Tung Lok Group. It's the only restaurant in Singapore built inside a real cave!
During the day, it's a buzzing spot perfect for food lovers, and in the evening, it transforms into a romantic setting ideal for date nights or any special occasion.
The best part? You don't need a ticket to Rainforest Wild Asia to enjoy Cavern Restaurant, anyone can come and experience this unique dining spot!
We recommend comfortable and breathable clothing, sports or trekking shoes with good traction, and a cap, particularly if you intend to do the more adventurous routes where you'll be trekking through forests, crossing logs and boulders over streams, and navigating on uneven terrain.
Sports attire and sports shoes are required for the add-on activities like the Canopy Jump, AIA Vitality Bounce, Critter Crawl, and Black Adventure Tours.
Make sure you also put on insect repellent and sunscreen to protect yourself against bugs and the sun.
The elevated walkways are wheelchair and stroller friendly but not the forest treks.
The forest treks aren't super challenging so many kids should be able to take those on as well.
In any case, there are many accesses back up to the elevated walkways, so if you find the forest treks too challenging, you'll find stairs throughout that will bring you back up to the elevated walkways.
